While small-group time activities are teacher planned, they are based on children's interests and developmental levels. In sequences from a variety of High/Scope settings, this program illustrates sources of ideas for small-group time, types of materials to use and how to organise them, and strategies teachers employ to support the individual ways in which children use materials throughout small-group time and in follow-up activities.
