Early Years Digital Support Programme #EYGovernanceWeek

#EYGovernanceWeek

The Early Years Digital Support Programme is a free programme of ICT training support for settings in the Southern Trust Area - supported by the Southern Childcare Partnership - Early Years Development Fund.

The COVID-19 pandemic has required many of our settings to carry out their work differently and this has included the use of digital technologies to support families and stay in contact with colleagues.  We know from feedback that some settings are less confident than others in using digital technologies and believe that this support programme can help settings with their skills with the aim of improving the settings use of ICT.

The programme of support includes:

  • Online training workshops in the use of digital technologies, such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom

  • 1-2-1 sessions directly with your setting in the use of digital technologies

  • Written guides to support the learning

  • Offline advice on the use of technology in settings

Relevant settings wishing to take part in the programme should register their interest by email to Marianna Hetherington: mariannah@early-years.org

Once you are registered you will be sent information on training workshops coming up and a short survey which will help us understand your ICT needs.

If you have questions about the programme please contact Diarmuid Moore: diarmuidm@early-years.org
